With operations in 32 countries, developer of advanced medical devices Smith & Nephew operates on a truly global scale. Keen to ensure uniformly exceptional standards of management worldwide, the company turned to us to help them devise an international managers’ handbook.
The solution
We worked closely with senior managers to define the messages, which soon became six core rules for success. These rules formed the basis for the handbook, which was made available to all managers through the company intranet. Fittingly, the information itself was highly manageable, with the basic narrative supported by downloadable PDFs offering greater detail on each section.
