    BlackRock
    Technology event

In February 2012 BlackRock commissioned us to create a bespoke event, designed to channel talented technology students into their summer internships. Applicants were screened and all attendees were fast-tracked to interview. The results speak for themselves – of the 35 interviewed, 20 were put through to assessment, and 9 were hired into Technology. 78% of those hired were female.

    Fresh Look

As our first diversity event of the season Fresh Look sets the standard. A trailblazing, profile raising interbank event designed to introduce first-year female students to the range of careers in investment banking. Held in mid-summer Fresh Look is an opportunity for our clients to meet undergraduates from variety of academic disciplines, many of whom may not have previously considered a career in investment banking.

    Unlock Your Potential

Unlock Your Potential is the product of a brief that required us to exploit our creative flair. We designed this bespoke event exclusively for first year female students intending to enhance the personal and professional skills of attendees. Held twice in 2011, both events benefitted from exceptional speakers and provided UBS with a platform to showcase their Insights week and Horizons programme.

    Inside & Out

Our LGBT interbank event, Inside and Out, will be six years old this summer. The first event made national headlines and has been going from strength to strength ever since. We help the banks engage directly with top talent from the LGBT community, challenging traditional perceptions of the industry and inspiring students into a career in investment banking.

    CityView

Intended to redress the gender balance in technology-based careers in banking, CITYVIEW is an innovative event that educates female students about the opportunities available to them. We handpick STEM students from target universities and invite them to attend the event, which is hosted by one of the 12 participating banks.

    Open

Our second disability event of the season is organised on the behalf of seven leading corporate law firms. OPEN is a careers forum that provides complete transparency about the opportunities available for talented disabled students. We help firms explain why diversity is such an integral part of their working culture and highlight the support that’s available to assist students make the most of their potential.

    London Banking Summit

In November 2011 we connected 130 MBA students from six of the best US schools – from New York to Chicago – with nine of the world’s leading banks. The London Banking Summit was held over two days, comprising a series of back-to-back insight and informational sessions. The pinnacle of the event was a networking evening that showcased the capital, hosted by the London Transport Museum.

    Getting Investment Banking

Getting Investment Banking is a uniquely interactive event designed to provide disabled students with an honest look at the prospect of a career in investment banking. Our daylong event aims to help students better understand the industry and allay any concerns they may have in relation to managing their disability in the workplace.

    Women in High Finance

We attract female students of the highest calibre to attend Women in High Finance. Once selected, students have the opportunity to attend this taster day, gaining first hand insight into what it is like to work at a top investment bank. On the day, representatives from a range of business areas are available for the girls to network with and learn from.
